Fotogroep Waalre 26-May-10

Photos shown at my local photography club on May 26th 2010 (these photos are © Peter van den Hamer). All these photos were taken in Belgium during the club’s yearly photography weekend trip. In this case this was to Leuven “and surroundings” although many of these surroundings were quite a drive from Leuven.

Headlamp of a classic Renault car with water inside (at the beer brewery in Hoegaarden).

ISO 200, 135 mm, f/4.5, 1/200 s

Flowers in the window in Leuven. Someone at the photo club remarked that this was a very feminine picture. Ah well.

ISO 100, 200 mm, f/4, 1/200 s

Two old men passing each other on the market in Leuven, Belgium.

Tragically they didn’t even greet or look at each other. I am afraid they pass each other daily on their standard walk.

ISO 500, 105 mm, f/4, 1/125 s

In an abandoned coal mine in Beringen, Belgium. We had a guide take us through the old buildings. The below-ground part of the mine was sealed off with concrete when the mine was close in 1988.
